Workout Wednesday HIIT 120
Wednesday is weigh in day for me it’s the day when I see how good I’ve been with dropping the pounds. That is a lie I am a slave to the scales I weight myself every day sometimes twice, the scale determine what workout I do in the morning, they help me choose what to eat depending on what I weighting. I know this is a really unhealthy way to live.
Today I stepped on my scales and it read LO which means the batteries had run out, I started looking for new batteries as my search was not going to well I was starting to stress I needed batteries as I I had to know how much I weighed I was actually started feeling like I was going to have a panic attack over not finding batteries, that’s when I realised that this is not right behavior and that I needed to take a minute or two.
This got me thinking that maybe it time to give the scales a rest and rely on other methods of seeing my weight loss because my relationship with the scales is not healthy.
What I did was measure myself I used to measure myself weekly but only started back again two weeks ago. I’m going to let the tape measure and photos be my guild. I’m going to take a break from the scales and regain a healthy relationship with food and exercise without the scale determine how I live.
This is going to be really hard for me as I like to see the numbers on my scales drop but I also need to be healthy mentally and living my life based on what the scales say isn’t healthy.
I’m going to scales detox.
Today I don’t know if I lost any weight but what I do know is I’m 4inchs small then I was last week.
After stressing out and not really know what I was doing I decided that I would do a fit test to see what my fitness levels are at as I haven’t done one in a really long time, I’d downloaded an app called SoSweat I’d set up the app but saw there was a fitness test but hadn’t got around to giving it a go, today I decided I would try out the fitness test and see how fit I am .
The test was pretty simple 4 exercises which were timed.
- 10 Press Up 00:37
- 50 Jumping Jacks 00:48
- 10 Diamond Sit Ups 00:34
- 25 Squats 01:07
That was how simple it was, I then got back my result which to me seem a little out there.
Now, these were my result, is it just me or does this not sound right to you, me in the top 27% of Athletes yeah right.
After taking the test I did my usually HIIT session

- Side High Knees 83/72/73
