Workout Wednesday 1st Week Back HIIT 116
Yes, I’m back with my HIIT’s. This was my first week of doing any form of exercise since the 22 November 2017, now that feels like forever away and I must admit my body is really feeling it.
Every year is the same I go on my last Holiday of the year which is October or November and I become a lazy bum, first it’s I’m jet-lagged I’m too tired then I get ill which take me out for a few week and the next thing I know it January and I’ve gained a shit load of weight and I have to start all over again.
So that is where I’m right now, I’m not going to lie and say last year was amazing and I lost loads of weight cos that would be an outright lie.
Last year was the year where I was stuck in limbo, I was going around in circles trying to lose weight trying to get fit but just not getting anywhere sad but true, I couldn’t get out of the 14 stone mark, and I’m still right there now.
Monday I began my HIIT sessions once again and it was hard I mean really hard, it wasn’t that I’m unfit but it’s also that I’m recovering from pleurisy, which has made it really hard for me to breath and any type of cardio is a killer in every sense of the word.
So this week HIIT is a lot less cardio and a lot more heavy lifting, today my body is hurting, I love that feeling of not being able to move cos you’ve had such a good workout and that’s me right now.
Food is still my biggest issue, but I am working on it, I now fully on this home cook meals thing trying to eat fresh, so I know what’s going into my body, my plan is to eat more fruit & veg, get my IBS under control first and then look at dropping weight.
Last year I managed to do 113 HIIT sessions which I’m pretty proud about as I think that’s a record for me as its been a long time since I worked out that much, but this year I want to bet that record even if it’s by one.
