It’s another restaurant review and once again I took a trip to China Town. I’m starting to see a pattern.
Not that long ago on IG (like I said before I found all my food spots on IG) I saw a post for Chilli Oil Noodles and I knew I had to get me some, anything spicy is usually a winner for me.
Don’t get me wrong, I recently went Baozilnn and was totally disappointed with their food yes it was spicy but it also tasted like they had put a whole bag of salt on top.
I quickly learnt the Chilli Oil Noodles were from Food House in China Town. I just had to decide when I was going. I’d made plans to meet up with friends on the weekend so asked if they were up for trying some Chilli Oil Noodles.
We met up on Sunday at 5 pm so the restaurant was pretty empty. We were shown to our table and giving menu’s straight away
Although I had already made up my mind, I still had a look at the menu and decided I would get something off the BBQ menu for my starter
Chicken Wings (minimum 2 skewers) £1.80

Chicken Wings Skewers
I’ve never seen wings served like this before they were on a skewer, this wing may not look much but it was really good. It had just the right amount of seasoning it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. this is definitely a winner I would get these again

King Prawn (minimum 2 skewers)

I can’t remember the price, but it was inexpensive.
The King Prawns were a decent size. These were also cooked beautifully they were oh so moist and juicy be prepared to get a little

Red Chilli Oil Noodles (Lamb) £8

Red Chilli Oil Noodles
Now, this was the main event, this is what I’d come for and I wasn’t disappointed. If you like your noodles thick then this is for you. You have a choice of Beef, Lamb or Vegetables I went for the Lamb. You also choose if you want the Chilli Oil on the Noodles or on the side I want for on the top, as one of my friends got the same as me but doesn’t like spicy food she got hers to the side so I also cover mine in her Chilli Oil.
These were delicious and spicy, While reading reviews on this dish a few people said it was oily, but what do you expect it covered in Chilli Oil.
The lamb was soft and tasty the noodle was thick and chewy and the chilli oil was spicy what more could you want. This here was divine. I really enjoyed them and will definitely be trying them
