Hello September 2017
There was a time when I used to keep monthly goals for myself, it was never anything too big and was always things I could manage to do, but of late I’ve been lazy and just gave up on my monthly goals in-hindside this was a big mistake. That why this month I’m going to give myself a set of 10 goals to work on. For me, the goals gave me something to work to.
I feel like I need goals in my life to keep me motivated not just in my fitness journey but just in life in general.
- Lost 2lbs a week
- Get out of the 14st mark
- Keep to carb cycling
- Go to the gym every other day
- Do HIIT workout 4 times a week
- Drink 2.2 litres a day of water
- Book my holiday to Cancun
- Drink Apple Cider Vinegar daily
- Blog 3 times a week
- Self Love
Here’s a little break down of the idea behind each of these goals.
Losing 2lbs a week is easy if I can win the food battle if I can eat right then that will be a walk in the park. I just need to say NO to anything which doesn’t all into my food allowance.
Get under 14st now this has been a killer for me this, the whole of this year I’ve been bouncing from under 14st to just over it, This is the heaviest I’ve EVER been and I hate it I just don’t seem to be able to get in the right mind space but I should be going Cancun in November so I have to get myself down to at least 13 st so that my clothes fit me and I can start feeling better about myself.
Carb cycling I know this is the best way for me to lose weight as it always worked before.
I’m proud to say that I’ve been doing really well with my HIIT sessions I’ve been getting up at 6:30 most morning and getting them in, I’ve done 89 HIITs this year so around 3 HIITs sessions a week but I really want to get it to 4.
Since the end of July when I bought my Gym Keg my water in take has been on the up, I drink 2.2 around 5 days a week I really want to up this to 7 days.
Yes that right I’m planning on going on my third holiday this year and this time I’m going Cancun I can’t wait. This is another reason why I need to get my fat ass into shape.
Apple Cider Vinegar now this is a hard one as it tastes like shit but the health benefits out number the taste because I suffer from IBS I know this is known to help settle the stomach.
My commitment to blogging is poor yes I know in my head I have a plan but it’s just not falling into place. The whole point of this blog is for me to share all the things I love. So this is the month that I share a little more.
Self Love is key and maybe missing as if I’d love myself I’d not be abusing myself with food.
