Workout Wednesday HIIT 113
I know it’s been a while since I checked in, so today IU decided to give a little rundown of what’s been going on in my fitness journey since I last gave you some loving.
For the 6 weeks before I went to Mexico I went on a bit of a low carb diet, I’m not going to lie and say I stayed away from them completely but I did cut down. In the 6 weeks, I managed to lose a stone and I started to feel better within myself, as I found by cutting out carbs my IBS didn’t seem to affect me as much. I’m starting to see that my body doesn’t process carbs to well and I do much better without them, but as you all know when your not allow something the more you want it and that’s the case with me and carbs.
I’ve also taken to intermission fasting which I think is the way forward for me as I seem to lose more weight by just limiting the time I eat in.
As I was saying I lost 14lbs in 6 weeks which I was very proud of but after 14 days of living the life of eating drinking eat and more drinking, I gained a total of 11 lbs that right I pretty much gained all the weight I lost. This is the first time I ever gained weight on holiday, I usually come back the same weight. All I can say is Mexico was good to me the food was amazing, I’ve always loved Mexican food but eating the real thing was sooooooo much better.
I must admit I fell in love with Mexico and would definitely go back.
I’m now back to reality, and with that come me being back on my eating healthy and working out although I did do 6 HIIT’s sessions while I was away and quite a few Aqua classes but the food and drink was way too much for them to do anything.
Today I did my first workout since I’ve been back the truth is I’ve been so jet-lagged that I haven’t felt up to doing anything, my sleeping pattern is mash-up I’m not felling a sleep until gone 4 and then fighting to wake up it crazy.
This morning I decided to do a workout no matter how I feel as if I wait to start feeling better it may never happen and am I glad I did, my energy level today feels so much better and I’m also ready for my capoeira class tonight.
Today workout was HIIT number 113 of the year.
